Sweet Almonds
Our master cooks created this sweet almond delicacy using 14th-century recipes as their inspiration. Bartolomeo Sacchi, a 15th-century cook and philosopher, even wrote that almonds helped to temper the effects of wine. Ingredients: roasted almonds (minimum 60%), sugar, cane sugar molasses, low-fat cooking cream [buttermilk, palm oils, modified starch, emulsifier (polysorbate 60), stabilisers (methylcellulose, xanthan gum), acidity regulators (sodium citrates), lactase], cinnamon, ginger, pepper, clove, vanilla flavouring, glycerol, glucose syrup, dextrose, milk powder and soy protein. Average nutritional values per 100 g: energy 2442 kJ / 588 kcal; fat 43.2 g, of which saturates 3.3 g; carbohydrate 32.8 g, of which sugars 31 g; protein 14 g; salt 0 g. Net weight: 200 g.
